Heart Shaped Napkin Fold -2 Ways

A heart shaped napkin fold?  It’s easy peasy lemon squeezy!   You can do it in the time it takes you to read this paragraph.  In fact, it’s so easy, I can show you not just one, but two ways to do it!  We Gracious Girls always have a few tricks up our sleeves!

Why not surprise him with a cute and easy heart shaped napkin fold! Napkin folds are an easy way to instantly upgrade your table. You’ve got to use a napkin, why not make it a heart shaped one? A special napkin fold is just another way to take it up a notch.


Here’s a sneak peak at the napkin fold that I’m about to show you. See how it transforms this table? It’s so beautiful and it takes no skill and only a few seconds to do. Let’s get to it!

  1.  Start with a square napkin.

2.  Fold it diagonally to create a big triangle.

3.  Accordion pleat it until you have only the tip left.

4.  Make sure the point is on top. You may have to flip it over.

5.  Holding the point, pull the tips of the napkin upward until the tips meet. It will look like a leaf.

6.  Making sure to keep the point stable, twist the ends of the tip.

7.  Tuck the twisted ends of the tip under.

8. Soften and manipulate the edges so that the heart forms.

9.  Make sure both sides of the heart are uniform.

10.  Accessorize with flowers, feathers, or whatever you have available.

  1.  Start with a square napkin.

2.  Fold it in half.

3.  Fold in half, then in half again, creating a long rectangle.

4.  From the center point, fold the napkin diagonally.

6.  Working on the two diagonally folded ends, fold the outer edges inward, creating a point.


7.  Repeat on the other side.


8.  Flip it over and voila!


10.  Accesorize it with flowers, or whatever you choose.
