This Champagne Punch Is A Crowd Pleaser!

Having a party and need an easy and tasty drink to serve a group? This champagne punch recipe will fit the bill!

This champagne punch recipe is so good that your guests will call you after the party for the recipe! I know because I got a call for it just this week! So when your guests ask you for the recipe, give credit where credit is due – tell them to go to! Lol.  (Thank you Ritche!)

One of the tricks of party planning is to get some tried and true recipes that become staples in your repertoire.  This recipe is one of mine.  (The “Best Ever” Sangria is another.) From a party planning standpoint, it checks all the boxes.

You just can’t lose by making and serving this punch at your next gathering.

The beauty of this recipe is that it is made with simple and inexpensive ingredients.


Although it is a champagne punch, the champagne taste is really masked by the flavors and sweetness of the remaining ingredients, so expensive champagne is not required. In fact, coming from a champagne connesseur, it would be sacrilegious to use good champagne for this beverage! So go ahead. Have no guilt in serving your guests “cheap” champagne. They will drink it, love it and ask for more!

This champagne punch has an incredibly complex flavor, but is made from three ingredients that you would never imagine would create such a taste. Here they are:


1 large can or 64 oz. bottle of pineapple juice.
1 64 oz. bottle of cranberry juice cocktail.
2 cups of sugar.

Just mix the ingredients and you’ve done the hard part.

I told you it was simple. You weren’t expecting that, were you? I can’t explain why this combination creates such an interesting result.
The preparation, however, is what makes this recipe really special.



The preparation is what takes this recipe up a notch – from being “not yo mama’s” party punch, to being an elegant party beverage that will leave your guests raving.

Once you have made the punch base, you need to freeze it, but because we are Gracious Girls, simply placing it in a freezer bag is not an option. We are taking this up a notch, remember? Pour your punch base in a bundt pan, so that it will freeze in the beautiful ring shape. Tasty and tasteful.

When you’re ready ready to serve, take the ice ring out of the freezer prior to the event. Take it out early enough so that it will become a little slushy.


When it’s time to serve, simply pour champagne over the ice ring. The beauty of this recipe is that it can stretch; you can pour several bottles over the ice ring without changing the taste.  Just keep pouring and keep the party going!

Because you have frozen the base, it stays chilled, so no ice is necessary.  Simply put out the punch bowl and let guests help themselves. In fact, you might want to help yourself too.

For the non-alcoholic version, use apple cider or club soda.
